I've increased from 4 1000 IU gelcaps daily to just this one 5000 IU gelcap. This is the amount of D3 recommended by my endocrinologist, based on the best scientific reports, and the amount he takes himself

Multi Health Benefits From Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 helps with multi functions in our bodies, immune system, stronger bone, telomere and DNA repair, steroid hormone and so forth. I've been taking it for several months. I remain physically strong all the times. We definitely can live healthier and longer life with vitamin D. Highly recommend it especially for those who get little exposure to sunlight.

Raised level of D

Several years ago, my MD thought my level of D3 was too low. I chose the ProHealth brand because I trust its quality and took it seven days a week. My level of D3 rose. Just recently my MD thought the level was a little too high, so I now take it six days a week. I have trouble with the fillers and binders in general and appreciate that I can take the ProHealth brand safely.

Vitamin D3

Living in the northern region of North America, especially during the wintertime, it is extremely important to take Vitamin D supplementation as we are more house bound and have less hours of sunlight. This Pro Health Vitamin D3 is easy to take as they are in a tiny capsule form and very easy to swallow. Highly recommended.
