ProHealth's Methylfolate with Quatrefolic supports a variety of bodily functions including healthy mood, memory, circulation and well-being.* Folic acid and also food folate are not biologically active and need to be converted to the metabolically active 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) through a multi-steps process where the enzyme methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) owns a key role.

Quatrefolic® provides 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (MTHF), the active form used by the body for DNA regulation and other fundamental metabolic processes. While maintaining the same biological properties of 5-MTHF, Quatrefolic® has been able to increase stability, bioavailability and solubility over other previous folate generations.

15mg may be too high for some people

Not the product's fault, but this dose is too high for me and resulted in some GI cramping. Will be trying a smaller dose.

It is what it says it is

This is one of those things where, depending on what you're taking it for, it's hard to tell if it's working or not. But it seems things are worse when I don't take it. I have ordered from ProHealth multiple times and plan to keep returning for this vitamin.

Saving Money and Healthy

My doctor wanted me to take L-Methylfolate 15mg daily with my Prescription medication. I was looking online to save money when I needed to reorder. ProHealth came up as #1 recommend with more benefits,
but didn't have the L in front. I called and representative couldn't give me Medical advice, but sent me detailed data so I could show my doctor and get her approval. I saw her that week and she approved highly. So I am spending less while getting more benefits and I feel great!

Good for your brain

I was told by a psychiatrist that Methylfolate would be a good addition to my diet. I found it on Pro Health a month ago and am happy with how it lifts my spirits.
You can get Folic Acid at a cheaper price,but it doesn't do the job. This is a quality product.

A miracle

My son and I have a deletion on our MTFR gene and must take Methylfolate to absorb folic acid.
This product is a good one as it comes in the strength recommended by our doctors and is a small capsule, easy to swallow. I highly recommend it.

I have been taking Methyfloate

I have been taking Methyfloate for 20 months and was suggested taking it by my neurologist. I was relieved that he was willing to look at over the counter additives after his very complete diagnostic process. I will continue to take it under guidance and direction from my medical team.
