Very high quality Berberine at a reasonable price. The challenge is extreme bitter taste and extreme pigment qualities of the powder requiring encapsulation, parachuting, or blending in a smoothie. To be able to buy the lower cost powder form, I am parachuting with wetted rice paper once per day at night since it can reduce maximum exercise capacity. If HIT or extreme weight lifter you may want to only take on evenings before rest days.

So far so good! This product is easy to ingest , it is exactly what I was expecting. It does not taste great, but if it works the way it is supposed to… who cares what it tastes like! Just started taking it. Time will tell whether it works or not. Give it a shot!

Berberine powder is very bitter and for first days very hard to swallow. But after few days you'll get used to this taste.

Taste and stain

I only used the product for a couple of weeks. While I was using it, I do believe I was receiving the benefits. However, I stop for the following reasons.

First, taste of the product. I use the product as instructed with high fat food and just was not comfortable with the strong taste and lasting aftertaste. I even tried to add a sweetener like agave to no avail.

Second, the yellow color. Getting the product on anything tended to stain. I had to be extremely careful on how are used it. It’s stained Towels, hands, counters, etc. It would stay on my hands even after a thorough washing. A non-powdered version would be better.
