Lily Allen turns to Rupert Grint to help her through her heartbreak

Seems like Lily Allen has turned to the 'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint to help her through the heartbreak of her recent split from the Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons following a miscarriage and she apparently enjoyed a heart to heart talk with the 19-year-old actor over dinner at a London restaurant last week.

 

The couple first hit it off when they met at the 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' premiere last year and a source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "They swapped numbers then and although they texed each other quite regularly they didn't meet up. Then when Lily split from Ed, Rupert offered her a shoulder to cry and she took it. They get on really well and he makes her laugh. Last week they enjoyed a Japanese meal together where they had a long intense talk as well as a few laughs".

Jennifer Aniston and  Aaron Eckhart are reported to have become inseparable whilst filming 'Traveling' together in Vancouver, Canada.

 

A source said, "They're getting along so great that everyone on the set is convinced they are more than just friends. They're just so in sync all the time".

 

Aaron, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy" (Thank You for Smoking) recently split up with his long term girlfriend Ashley Wicks and is said to have put Jennifer forward for the role.

 

The source added to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "Jen's entire reason for doing this movie was Aaron. She's wanted to work with him for years and was completely flattered that she was his first choice to be the leading lady in this movie. I think the fact that both of them have been single for a couple of months is contributing to the chemistry they have on this film, even when they aren't shooting. They genuinely enjoy each other's company. But if they're actually hooking up, they're doing it as quietly as possible".

 

Since splitting up with husband Brad Pitt in January 2005, Jennifer has dated Vince Vaughn and also been romantically linked to model Paul Sculfor and actor Jason Lewis.

 

The Oscar Presenters And Performers Have Been Announced

The telecast producer Gil Cates and the 'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' president Sid Ganis have announced the presenters and performers for the upcoming Oscars.

 

Jon Stewart will host the Oscar ceremony for the second time and the show will take place on Sunday, February 24, at the 'Kodak Theatre' in Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC as well to more than 200 countries worldwide.

Lindsay Lohan is obsessed with TopShop

Lindsay Lohan was so impressed when she visited the UK high street's 'TopShop' clothing store on Oxford Street that she had to buy extra luggage in order to transport all her new purchases back to Los Angeles.

 

She said, "Like everyone else I absolutely love TopShop! I was lucky enough to be able to go shopping at the Oxford Street branch in London when the store was closed and it was just amazing. I had to buy three new suitcases just to get everything I had bought home!".

 

Lindsay also revealed that fame and success have not improved her love life, "Whether you are famous or not, it's all about having a connection with somebody. It depends on who calls to your heart. If you don't have that special something then it's never going to work. At the moment though, I'm happy just being myself, being single, just being really!".

Eva Mendes is in rehab.

The actress, Eva Mendes is reportedly being treated at Utah's 'Cirque Lodge' rehab clinic for an undisclosed addiction after deciding for herself that she needed "professional support".

 

Her spokesman said, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support".

 

At the Cannes Film Festival last May, Eva admitted she needed alcohol to feel comfortable while filming a sex scene with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix for, 'We Own the Night'.

 

She said, "I wasn't comfortable at all, but Joaquin and the director James Gray were very sweet and they poured me a vodka and orange juice and then I was fine. I'm very professional and I don't usually drink on the job but that morning I had to have something".

 

The 33 year old actress is not the first high profile name to check into the Cirque Lodge clinic.

 

Last year, the 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan spent two months in the facility battling drug and alcohol addiction.

 

Eva has had a very hectic schedule of late and recently completed several upcoming movies including, 'The Spirit', alongside Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson, and 'The Women', which features Meg Ryan and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Lindsay Lohan and Keira Knightley both up for 'Wuthering Heights'.

Both Lindsay Lohan and Keira Knightley are vying to play the romantic heroine, Catherine Earnshaw in the big screen version of Emily Bronte's classic 1847 novel 'Wuthering Heights'.

 

It's director, John Maybury said, "I certainly wouldn't count Keira out, but it's whether or not she wants to get back into period costume because she's been in a few period dramas. I don't count Lindsay Lohan out either. I really believe in the girl and she's coming out from the other side of her well documented problems and she just needs to be treated seriously".

 

However, Lindsay's nationality could count against her.

 

Maybury went on to say to Britain's 'Daily Mail' newspaper, "It can be slightly annoying having American actresses in British parts. They may be able to do brilliant British accents but that can be off putting if their accent is too perfect".

 

Lindsay was set to star alongside Keira in the Dylan Thomas biopic 'The Edge of Love' which was directed by Maybury but had to pull out at the last minute because she couldn't get insurance following her high profile battles with alcohol and drugs that caused her spend a two months in rehab last year.

 

Moreover, the month before pulling out of the film, Lindsay had been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and cocaine possession.
