Speaking on an Irish radio station Jerry said, "He would talk to us like soldiers. He was very imaginative in his insults and that is hard to get over. He was very violent. He took uppers and would come home and beat us five girls. He broke bones".
Jerry's father, who was a former U.S. army sergeant that later became a truck driver apparently wanted a boy so much that he gave all his daughters male names.
Jerry said that she believes her dad was driven to drink and drugs because of his own upbringing and his war experiences.
"His father drank and his mother died when he was a baby, so you try to understand why someone became so violent. Horrible things happened to my father. He had to release people from a prison of war camp and found 18,000 dead bodies". Jerry ran away to Paris when she was just 16 and within a few years became one of the world's top catwalk models.
She had four children with the 'Rolling Stones' front-man Mick Jagger but the couple later divorced.
