Kate, whose father is magazine publisher Jefferson Hack took her daughter to Cornwall's 'Paulos Americano Circus' in Newquay with a group of friends but said that she didn't have enough money to pay for souvenirs.
Natasha Darnell-Smith who is a circus performer told Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "Kate came to buy the fluorescent glasses we sell to the kids and I didn't realize who it was until she took her hat off. She had five to six kids with her and said she could not afford to buy the glasses that cost £4 each".
Kate Moss is one of the world's most successful models and has an estimated annual income of £30 million.
She just signed a $6 million deal to produce her own line of clothes for the high street chain 'Topshop' and also landed several lucrative contracts for top brands including Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Calvin Klein and Christian Dior.
In defense of Kate, I wonder if she simply didn't have $50 (she could hardly the buy sunglasses for just her daughter) in cash. That happens to lots of us and it doesn't mean that we're either tight or broke. Add your comment: |
